Changes to Riga Cemetery Operations for the 2025–2026 Winter

Starting December 1, 2025, Riga's city cemeteries will switch to winter operating hours. This is due to worsening weather conditions, shorter daylight hours, and the need to ensure the safe movement of visitors. According to official information, all Riga cemeteries will be open to visitors until 6:00 PM, and burials will be possible until 3:00 PM.
