The Matisa Cemetery is currently a partially closed necropolis, where only reburials in existing family plots, with a casket and urn, are available.
Reburial plots are provided free of charge, but arranging a reburial usually involves removing the headstones. After the burial, these elements are reinstalled, with the customer paying for the restoration work.
The cost of services is determined by the scope and complexity of the work required on the site.
The Matāīsa Cemetery offers the opportunity for family burials. For reburials, the last funeral must have taken place at least twenty years ago. There are no specific time limits for urn burials.
For each reburial in a family grave, permission must be obtained from the cemetery administration on Mazā Matīsa Street. Required documents include a death certificate, proof of relationship, and an application with an identification document. The terms of service are regulated by relevant regulations.
The specialists of the CITY FUNERAL SERVICE are ready to promptly organize and conduct a dignified funeral at the Matāīsa Cemetery. For a free consultation, please call +371 2944 9849 at any time convenient for you.
